Lyrics

Distant

[Verse 1]

You know that I'ma miss you so bad

I'm leaving but I ain't sad yet

You tell me it'll go fast

And you'll be here when I get back

[Pre-Chorus]

But what if it's the last time, the last night

We say goodbye

But I can't fight the panic

If I'm fine, then why do I say?

[Chorus]

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore, yeah

[Verse 2]

If I should never leave just tell me

And you can find me back on my street

'Cause I know that you'll be lonely

And I don't like when you're without me

[Pre-Chorus]

'Cause what if this the last time, the last night

We say goodbye

But I can't fight the panic

If I'm fine then why do I say?

[Chorus]

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore, yeah

'Cause lately, I'm feeling like I need

You and me to hang around

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore

[Verse 3]

'Cause I don't wanna see a sunrise

On the East Coast this time

And I don't wanna make this three night drive

Just so I could see that you're alright

[Bridge]

I swear this doesn't feel real, is this even real?

If the only thing I feel doesn't ever heal

Now I'm fucking homesick, tell me that I don't quit

And I'll believe it if you say we'll make it, yeah

[Chorus]

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore

'Cause lately I'm feeling like I need

You and me to hang around

I never wanna leave my home anymore, home anymore
