About This Track

'WOLVES' by RØRY is a Rock track from the album 'RESTORATION', released in 2025. The lyrics stage a bruised, post-breakup address, with the speaker recalling an intimate past moment, then sliding into sleepless, breathless regret. “Barely breathing, barely sleeping” sits over imagery of lingering harm in the space left behind, and the plea that forgiveness might be possible for what has been done.

"WOLVES" is a track by RØRY, from the album RESTORATION, released 25th January 2025. The track is 2:57 long. It's filed under Rock. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 3 articles about RØRY.

Lyrics

WOLVES

Oh-oh, oh-oh

Oh-oh, oh-oh

So take me back to December, just us in the house
You told me I would forget you, if you could see me now
Barely breathing, barely sleeping, there's a bullet in my chest
In the space you left
Hope you don't hold it against me, these things that I've done
These broken bottles are empty, I drink 'til I'm numb
Time is coming, can't outrun it, all the things I never said
The things that I can't forget
Gonna fight every night
Gonna bring you back to life
Take my soul, take my bones, I would die
I hope you know, I'd throw myself to the wolves
I hope you know, I'd fight with God if I could
I'd get high, wreck my life
For a second of your time to bring you home
I hope you know

I'm in an ocean of anger and that's how I'll drown
'Cause missing you is the anchor that's dragging me down
Out of reasons, now I'm screaming, begging Jesus in my head
Take me instead
I hope you know, I'd throw myself to the wolves
I hope you know, I'd fight with God if I could
I'd get high, wreck my life
For a second of your time to bring you home
I hope you know (oh-oh, oh-oh)
I hope you know (oh-oh, oh-oh)
I'd get high, wreck my life
For a second of your time, to bring you home
I hope you know
And I hope you know

RØRY gets heavier without losing her ear for a chorus. The results are furious, sometimes overpolished, and often difficult to shake.
