Halflives is an alternative rock project originating from Modena, Italy, led by singer and songwriter Linda Battilani. The group initially operated as a band but transitioned into a solo project with Battilani as the sole member. They released their debut eight-track record, 'Empty Rooms,' in spring 2017, followed by a European tour supporting Courage My Love, which included 14 concerts between May and June of that year. In 2018, Halflives headlined several European tours and released two standalone singles, 'Crown' and 'Fugitive.' The band supported The Faim and Chapel on UK tours in early 2019 and performed at Rock for People. In 2020, they released the EP 'Resilience,' which featured the single 'Time Bomb' with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens. They also toured Europe with Icon for Hire and released the single 'Villain' in November of that year. Their next EP, 'V,' was released on 2 July 2021 and included singles such as 'Victim,' 'Vibe,' 'Valkyrie,' and 'Villain.' In 2022, Halflives toured Europe with Against The Current and Halocene. Following the release of 'V,' Battilani announced that the project had shifted from a band to a solo endeavor. In 2023, Halflives released the EP 'Inferno,' featuring singles like 'Dynamite,' 'Everybody Knows It,' and 'Oblivion.'
