Rocket's 'Bound Thug' cycles through a collision of material hunger and cosmic ambition, rapped in Russian over a trap-inflected beat. Money rules the world, he announces; his world is space. The song pivots between street-level appetites (designer clothes, hotel rooms, fast cars, cash) and a reaching upward, a need to escape into the stars that frames the earthly desires as a kind of trap, a binding constraint. The track's title becomes a mantra and a confession. Rocket describes himself as bound, caught in a dirty niche, his potential checked by circumstance and disbelief from others. Yet the 'Interstellar vision' that closes each chorus suggests escape is possible, that ambition itself might be the vehicle. It's a tension the song never quite resolves, and doesn't need to; the friction between the two poles is where the track finds its energy.
