'Cherry Rocket' is a hazy, hedonistic track built around a simple hook: the repeated invocation of the titular "berry rocket", a slang term that threads through the song as both intoxicant and state of mind. The production sits somewhere between trap and cloud rap, all soft focus and languid rhythm, whilst the vocals drift across the mix with the detachment of someone already deep in the experience the song describes. There's a lightness to it, almost comedic in its single-mindedness, the kind of song that doesn't pretend to be about anything other than the moment it's documenting. The lyrics move between vivid domestic detail and pure atmosphere. References to designer labels and luxury goods sit comfortably alongside the mundane logistics of the experience, creating a world that feels both aspirational and genuinely lived-in. The chorus repeats its central image until it becomes almost meditative, a mantra of sorts, whilst the verses pile on specificity: the brands, the locations, the small rituals of the scene. It's hedonism without pretence, and without apology.
