About This Track

'Drive Home' is a Russian-language track from Rocket's album Aeon Values, composed by Carlos Molina. The song cycles through a hypnotic refrain about heading home, layering boasts and substance references across verses that toggle between swagger and detachment. Rocket adopts the voice of someone riding high, name-checking Moscow City and luxury cars, but the repetition of the central hook creates a kind of blur between arrival and departure, motion and stasis. The production holds the track in a state of suspension. Verses pile on competing claims and half-formed thoughts, whilst the chorus strips everything back to the single phrase, repeated until it loses meaning. It's a study in excess and emptiness at once, the kind of song that sounds celebratory and hollow in the same breath.
