'Money' arrives as the closing track on Rocket's 'Tsukuyomi Dream' project, a three-song release that stretches just under ten minutes. The song settles into a hypnotic loop, the chorus cycling through the same refrain about drifting through days in pursuit of wealth. It's a simple hook, repeated until it becomes almost meditative, the repetition itself doing the work of the argument. The verses push against this surface simplicity. Rocket layers in questions about ambition and isolation, the lyrics moving between boasts and uncertainty, between wanting to be first and wondering how long one can sustain that hunger alone. There's a restlessness beneath the production, a tension between the song's measured groove and the scrambling energy of the words. The track runs just under three minutes, efficient and pointed, leaving little room for development but plenty for the central idea to lodge itself.
