Lyrics

Borderline

Ooh-ah (ah, I love it)
Ooh-ah (ah, I love it)

We look pretty when we meet
Got a flavor, but it's bittersweet
I know it's bad timing, that's alright
I'll see you never or in 25 (I love it)

If we touch, we touch (ah)
It's the London rush (ah)
We're not breaking the law, we're just bending the rules
And it's just enough

So we go out in the middle of the night
And we get a little taste of the borderline
So we go out in the middle of the night
Just to get a little taste of the borderline

Back in the city, been a while
I'm heading fast towards the underground
With a new color on my lips
Gon' make it messy, but I'll take a hit

If we touch, we touch (ah)
It's the London rush (ah)
We're not breaking the law, we're just bending the rules
And it's just enough

So we go out in the middle of the night
And we get a little taste of the borderline
So we go out in the middle of the night
Just to get a little taste of the borderline

And I know I shouldn't do it, but it's hotter in Hell
Got like 20 bad ideas, and the first is your hotel
There's a beautiful reflection in your eyes
Of a girl letting go

So we go out in the middle of the night
And we get a little taste of the borderline
So we go out in the middle of the night
Just to get a little taste of the borderline

So we go out in the middle of the night
And we get a little taste of the borderline
So we go out in the middle of the night
Just to get a little taste of the borderline

So we go out (and I know I shouldn't do it, ah)
(And I know I shouldn't do it) I know (I shouldn't do it)
So we go out (and I know I shouldn't do it)
Just to get a little taste of the borderline (ah)

Ooh-ah, ah, I love it
Ooh-ah, ah, I-

How Sigrid’s creative reset shaped ‘There’s Always More That I Could Say’

Sigrid’s third album makes room for the giddy mess of flirting, post-break-up fury and the more difficult work of seeing a relationship from somebody else’s side.

What Sigrid’s How To Let Go special edition adds, and why Askjell matters to it

Sigrid is born to run at Reading Festival
Live

Sigrid is born to run at Reading Festival

With the release of her 'Don't Kill My Vibe' EP earlier this year, Sigrid introduced herself as a pop sensation. Performing on Reading Festival's Dance Stage the Scandinavian artist breathes fresh life into the hype. Sugar sweet vocals hypnotise the crowd, never more so than in the set's single stripped back number. The real power here, however, lies in the songs' addictive pop punch. This is music with weight, an energy and motion destined to command, and the gathered crowd are powerless to stop it - not that anyone here wants to. Feel good almost to an extreme, it's a performance made to marvel in. So that's exactly what the audience do. Giving themselves in to the music, the energy builds with every bouncing riff. Dancing around the stage with an effortless grace, basking in the moment entirely, there's every sense that this is what Sigrid was born to do.

Sigrid is a superstar at Latitude 2017

How do you define a superstar? We've tried many different variations (I mean it's kinda our jobs y'know) but really, it's all about a feeling. A moment in time which you can point to and say "Yes - this is the real deal" and every other description can go to…
