Lyrics

Jericho

Trace the Neolithic desert seed
Raised in 9600 BC
Centuries later the dawn is breaking
Israelites are reborn and they're making plans
For Canaan lands
Trace the River Jordan to the sea
Face the west and Jericho is seen
Destiny comes and there is no escaping
This promised land could be ours if we make this stand
Replace this sand with milk and honey

Tear down the walls of Jericho
Tear down the walls of Jericho
Tear down the walls of Jericho
Tear down the walls of Jericho

Dazed they found His military seed
The Ark of the Covenant is all we need
Exodus came at a price and we paid it
Born out of faith, not a world we created now
Survive somehow to shape and conquer

Tear down the walls of Jericho
The Ark unleashed, the hammer blows
Tear down the walls of Jericho
A trail of kiss, the dead stand low
Tear down the walls of Jericho
When faith and battle horns breach stone
Tear down the walls of Jericho
The whole damn city's got to go

Tear down the walls of Jericho
The Ark unleashed, the hammer blows
Tear down the walls of Jericho
A trail of kiss, the dead stand low
Tear down the walls of Jericho
When faith and battle horns breach stone
Tear down the walls of Jericho
The whole damn city's got to go

Tear down the walls of Jericho
Tear down the walls of Jericho

Tear down the walls of Jericho
Tear down the walls of Jericho

Tear down the walls of Jericho
The Ark unleashed, the hammer blows
Tear down the walls of Jericho
A trail of kiss, the dead stand low
Tear down the walls of Jericho
When faith and battle horns breach stone
Tear down the walls of Jericho
The whole damn city's got to go
