Lyrics

Elevation

I think my teeth are falling out
Like in a dream of mine
But I haven't slept for days
And you're on my mind
And then I watch as the memory passes
See your face through these dark sunglasses
And what I once knew now is just ashes
Once knew how to be without
But there's no escaping, no escaping
No escaping love
And I feel like taking, feel like taking
Feel like taking drugs
When this elevation, elevation
Elevation's done
They still know we're raising
Know we're raising us
Sometimes I wonder
If you're really out here
In Paris, or London
I still believe and I still care
Thought I saw you last week on the Avenue
These people try to tell me I imagined you
Got a head full of shit so it might be true
Well baby, do you?
Baby, do you?
'Cause there's no escaping, no escaping
No escaping love
And I feel like taking, feel like taking
Feel like taking drugs
When this elevation, elevation
Elevation's done
They still know we're raising
Know we're raising us
When this elevation, elevation
Elevation's done
When this elevation, elevation
Elevation's done
When this elevation, elevation
Elevation's done
They still know we're raising
Know we're raising us

It may be The Dare's biggest show yet, but the party is still only just getting started

Rounding off a year that’s been undeniably massive, tonight’s show was an extra addition to his UK tour, and following a recent closure of Heaven, has ended up being moved to a venue that’d host his biggest headline show in London yet. The Dare is often mistaken for a Brit, a comparison which, aside from the dry wit and resemblance to Paul Weller in the 70s, becomes more obvious when you realise how well-received he is on the island.
