About This Track

'Cool' by Uffie is a pop track from the album 'Sunshine Factory' released in 2022. The lyrics find the speaker moving fast, bristling at rumours, and pitching a no-nonsense attitude with the repeated self-assurance of “Cool”. Along the way, there is a flirtatious, intimate tone, with talk of wanting time away, casual domestic details, and the push-pull of wanting to matter to someone. The overall effect is swaggering and lightly reckless, as the song weighs carelessness against the desire for something more manageable.

"Cool" is a track by Uffie, from the album Sunshine Factory, released 19th May 2022. The track is 3:06 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 2 articles about Uffie.

Lyrics

Cool

Hop in the Uber
With my Ziploc bags
Don't care for rumors
Gonna burn your pants
I'm defenseless
Whenever I'm in your hands

Cool
Cool
Cool
Cool

We could still be good for recreation
Babe wants a vacation
Tells me over cereal
How much it would mean to him
So we go deeper
Like we deep sea divin'
Like we tipsy drivin'

We will never reel it in
You know I'll toss you in the bin
If you're goin' out, I'm stayin' in
Maybe I swear I'll never drink again, drink again

Mink when I'm cold
Kissing by the pool
Life's a disco
Cool

Temporary lovе
Pockets full of fun
Life's a disco
Cool

Cool
Cool
Cool

Finally, somebody lеft me out here
People need someone to care
I'm not goin' anywhere
Always hated losin'
Never stop movin'
Got nothing left to prove
But my vocals still need tunin'

You're taking pictures
To catch a memory
I'm not against it
I just don't want to remember it
'Cause lately, I'm not feelin' it
And we will never reel it in

Mink when I'm cold
Kissing by the pool
Life's a disco
Cool

Temporary love
Pockets full of fun
Life's a disco
Cool

Hop in the Uber
With my Ziploc bags
Don't care for rumors (no)
Gonna burn your pants

I'm defenseless
Whenever I'm in your hands
I'm feelin' breathless
Turn my fingers white

I don't listen
Don't care if you're right
I'm defenseless
Whenever I'm in your hands

Cool
