Lyrics

11am

[Verse 1]

It was 11 in the morning when you came around

I lost every word I had when you first made a sound

Something inside of me changed

I came to life that day

Oh, I remember on the day you took your first step

You took my breath away

I felt the tears run down my neck

Something inside of me changed

I hope you know that I mean it when I say

[Chorus]

I just wanna be your hero

I just wanna make you proud

I just wanna see you smile

Until my time starts running out

I know I'm not a perfect person

We both know I made mistakes

I just wanna be your hero

Not afraid to show my face

[Post-Chorus]

(A hero, a hero)

[Verse 2]

The time is moving and I watch as you get older

I'll always be your warmth as time will make you colder

Something inside of me is different

I don't wanna blink 'cause I don't wanna miss it

[Chorus]

I just wanna be your hero

I just wanna make you proud

I just wanna see you smile

Until my time starts running out

I know I'm not a perfect person

We both know I made mistakes

I just wanna be your hero

Not afraid to show my face

[Post-Chorus]

(A hero, a hero)

Not afraid to show my face

(A hero, a hero)

[Bridge]

I know these miles are in between us

They can't keep me away

I'll go wherever you are

I hope you know I mean it when I say

[Chorus]

I just wanna be your hero

I just wanna make you proud

I just wanna see you smile

Until my time starts running out

I know I'm not a perfect person

We both know I made mistakes

I just wanna be your hero

Not afraid to show my face

[Post-Chorus]

(A hero, a hero)

You'll always be my favorite place

(A hero, a hero)

I hope you don't forget my face

(A hero, a hero)

Until my dying day

(A hero, a hero)

I'm always gonna be your hero
