About This Track

'Below' by White Lung is an alternative track from the album 'Paradise' (2016). The lyrics imagine being overwhelmed, with tide-like pressure and the speaker repeating that they will be fine even as they go under. It has a destructive, self-protective edge, moving from scorched waste to the wish to bring everything down, then turning toward the fear that beauty will be buried if someone dies alone.
