Patrick Wolf has confirmed his return with an upcoming single, ‘Enter The Day’
The full project is expected to arrive next year via Wolf’s new label, ARPORT.
London singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf has announced his return to music with an upcoming comeback single, ‘Enter The Day’.
The news is set to lead toward Wolf’s first release since his sixth album, ‘Sundark and Riverlight’, arrived back in 2012. The musician has remained active on the tour circuit during his hiatus, for which he cites general burnout and management issues, but has not shared any new material in over a decade.
Wolf continues: “On my debut EP, released 20 years ago to the date of this Friday I yearned for ‘total chaos’ and accidentally my reply these years later came as a hoping for ‘the golden mean’, a philosophy of Aristotle’s where life is at its most thriving and beautiful in the middle of two extremes, no longer perilous in the extremities.”
The track is set to arrive this Friday, November 11th, on the 20th anniversary of his debut EP’s original release. It will be delivered on Wolf’s own label, ARPORT, and comes in advance of a new EP, the release date of which is currently unconfirmed.
