Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo comprising Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The duo derived their name from a club night they hosted in Brixton, London. They gained initial recognition in the underground house scene of the mid-1990s and subsequently achieved international chart success. They won the Best Dance Act award at the BRIT Awards in 2002 and 2004. Their notable singles include 'Red Alert', 'Rendez-Vu', 'Romeo', 'Where's Your Head At', 'Do Your Thing', and 'Good Luck'.
