Demonic Resurrection is a blackened death metal band from Mumbai, India, formed in 2000. Its 2025 line-up includes Sahil "The Demonstealer" Makhija on vocals and rhythm guitar, Aditya Swaminathan on lead guitar, Swarnava Sengupta on bass, and Nikhil Rajkumar on drums. The band has released five studio albums and one EP since its formation. Its fourth album, The Demon King, was released in July 2014 by Candlelight Records, with distribution in India by Universal Music. Demonic Resurrection has performed at international festivals such as Wacken Open Air in Germany in 2014, Inferno Metal Festival in Norway in 2010, Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic in 2010, and MetalDays in Slovenia in 2015. In February 2025, the band performed at Bangalore Open Air in India and indicated plans for a tour to commemorate its 25th year of activity.
