About JAWS

JAWS are an English indie rock band formed in Birmingham in 2012. The band was established after singer Connor Schofield posted a demo, which received positive feedback, leading him to form a band with friends from Halesowen College. They are associated with the Digbeth-based B-Town scene. JAWS have released two EPs and three full-length albums. Their song 'Stay In,' a B-side of 'Surround You,' was featured in the Ubisoft game Rocksmith 2014, and their track 'Gold' appeared in an episode of Hollyoaks. The band has toured with acts including The Twang, Peace, Swim Deep, and Spector, and has supported various artists on tour. In December 2013, they announced plans to record a full studio album in 2014, with funding from the PRS. In April 2014, they released the single 'Think Too Much, Feel Too Little.' Their debut album, 'Be Slowly,' was released on 15 September 2014. The band announced a tour in September 2014, with dates in Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and other cities, supported by Fickle Friends, Milk Teeth, and Brawlers. On 27 April 2015, JAWS released the standalone single 'Bad Company' via Huw Stephens' Radio 1 show.
