LAMB OF GOD

Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. The band was formed in 1994 under the name Burn the Priest, and later adopted the name Lamb of God. The group includes bassist John Campbell, vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, and drummer Art Cruz. They are considered a significant part of the new wave of American heavy metal. Since their formation, Lamb of God has released twelve studio albums, including two as Burn the Priest. Their most recent album, Into Oblivion, was released in March 2026. The band has also issued one live album, one compilation album, three DVDs, two EPs, and twenty-eight singles. Their cumulative sales in the United States are nearly two million, with two albums certified Gold by the RIAA. Lamb of God received Grammy nominations in 2010 and 2011 for songs from their 2009 album Wrath, and a nomination in 2016 for the song "512." The band has toured with Ozzfest twice and has appeared at festivals such as Download Festival, Sonisphere Festival, Soundwave Festival, Mayhem Festival 2010, and Gigantour.
