
Linda Perry, born on April 15, 1965, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. She was the lead singer, primary songwriter, and guitarist of the band 4 Non Blondes, which released the hit song 'What's Up?' in 1993. Perry has founded two record labels and has written and produced songs for various artists, including Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful,' Gwen Stefani's 'What You Waiting For?,' and Pink's 'Get the Party Started.' She has also contributed to albums by Adele, Alicia Keys, and Courtney Love, and was involved in signing and distributing James Blunt in the United States. Perry was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015.
