The track kicks off a new era, introducing her upcoming sophomore album due later this year.
Nessa Barrett, born Janesa Jaida Barrett on August 6, 2002, is an American singer-songwriter and social media personality. She gained prominence on TikTok, where she began uploading covers as a teenager. Barrett signed a recording contract with Warner Records and released her debut single, 'Pain,' in 2020. In 2021, she released her debut EP, 'Pretty Poison,' which features elements of alternative pop and pop-rock. Her debut album, 'Young Forever,' followed in 2022. In 2023, she released the EP 'Hell Is a Teenage Girl,' and in 2024, she released her second studio album, 'Aftercare,' which includes electropop and synthpop influences.
