Pom Pom Squad is an American indie rock and grunge band based in Brooklyn, New York. It is the solo project of Mia Berrin, who is the frontwoman. The band includes permanent members Shelby Keller on drums, Alex Mercuri on guitar, and Lauren Marquez on bass and keys. They released the extended plays Hate It Here in 2018 and Ow in 2019. Their debut studio album, Death of a Cheerleader, was released in 2021. Following the album, they toured extensively, opening for Pvris and Bartees Strange. In 2024, they released their second album, Mirror Starts Moving Without Me, which received positive reviews. On August 6, 2025, Mia announced that the band was once again an independent indie band without a record label.
