RIBBON SKIRT

Ribbon Skirt is a Canadian indie rock duo from Montreal, Quebec, composed of vocalist and guitarist Tashiina Buswa, who is Anishinaabe, and multi-instrumentalist Billy Riley. The duo initially performed under the name Love Language, releasing two EPs before adopting the name Ribbon Skirt in reference to Buswa's heritage. Their debut full-length album, Bite Down, was released in April 2025 on Mint Records and was shortlisted for the 2025 Polaris Music Prize. They released an EP titled PENSACOLA in October 2025, which the band described as an epilogue to Bite Down.
