From post-pandemic DJ sets to a single made while touring, Jamie xx’s recent work treats the dance floor as part of the production process.
The Avalanches are an Australian electronic music group formed in Melbourne in 1997. The group has released three studio albums: Since I Left You (2000), Wildflower (2016), and We Will Always Love You (2020). They perform both live and recorded DJ sets. The current members are Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi. The band is associated with the plunderphonics genre, and their debut album, Since I Left You, is considered a significant example of that genre.
