Two Door Cinema Club are an Irish rock band formed in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland, in 2007. The band consists of Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, synths, backing vocals). Their debut album, Tourist History, was released on 1 March 2010 by the French independent record label Kitsuné Musique, and in the United States by Glassnote Records on 27 April 2010. Tourist History was nominated for the Irish Album of the Year at the Choice Music Prize in 2010. The band's second album, Beacon, was released on 3 September 2012, debuting at number one on the Irish Albums Chart and reaching number two on the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, Gameshow, was released on 14 October 2016, with singles including "Are We Ready? (Wreck)", "Bad Decisions", and "Gameshow" released prior to the album.
