Tchad Blake is an American mixing and recording engineer, producer and musician, a native of Texas known for an inventive, character-rich approach to the studio. He is associated with adventurous recording methods, binaural microphone techniques among them, and frequently partners with Mitchell Froom, with whom he is a member of the Latin Playboys. On Dork his work is credited alongside The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel, Bonnie Raitt, Sia and Suzanne Vega. A multiple Grammy winner, his honours include Best Engineered Album wins for records by Sheryl Crow and Suzanne Vega and two Grammys for his work on The Black Keys' Brothers.
