Five more artists are confirmed for July's 50th anniversary ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.

Melanie Jayne Chisholm, born on 12 January 1974, is an English singer and songwriter. She gained prominence as a member of the pop group the Spice Girls, where she was known as Sporty Spice. The group sold over 100 million records worldwide and is considered the best-selling female group of all time. The Spice Girls went on an indefinite hiatus in 2000, later reuniting for a greatest hits album in 2007 and touring in 2007–2008 and in 2019. Chisholm launched a solo career in late 1998 with the single 'When You're Gone', a collaboration with Bryan Adams. She signed with Virgin Records and released her debut solo album, Northern Star, in 1999, which included two UK number one singles, 'Never Be the Same Again' and 'I Turn to You'. The album sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide as of 2020. Her second album, Reason, was released in 2003. After parting ways with Virgin Records, she founded her own record label, Red Girl Records. Chisholm is recognized for her distinctive vocal tone and ability.
