Native Intelligence

[Verse 1]

Native intelligence, hard to find

Animal eloquence, sometimes

Searching for relevance online

Here comes the eulogy

[Pre-Chorus]

Trust me, children

Trust me, darlin'

[Chorus]

Taking a bath in cyanide, taking a bath

Taking a bath in cyanide, taking a bath

[Post-Chorus]

Don't you want to play?

Don't you want to play?

Don't you want to play?

[Verse 2]

Native intelligence, nowhere

Searching for evidence in the air

Talk to the elephants, waste of time

Here comеs the eulogy

[Pre-Chorus]

Trust me, childrеn

Trust me, baby

[Chorus]

Taking a bath in cyanide, taking a bath

Taking a bath in cyanide, taking a bath

Danny Elfman on Dork

Who plays God, the devil and the angels on Waterparks’ ‘Tell Me Why’?

Waterparks’ ‘TELL ME WHY’ opens ‘JINX’ with Mark Hoppus as God, Danny Elfman as the devil, and Eric Nally and Dillon Francis in an angelic chorus. Here’s the dated context around Elfman’s appearance.

How scrapping records reshaped Waterparks, from ‘Friendly Reminder’ to ‘JINX’

Waterparks abandoned two albums seven years apart. The first reset turned a break-up record into ‘FANDOM’; the second followed professional upheaval and made ‘JINX’ a hard-won clean slate.

Waterparks have addressed Danny Elfman's involvement on upcoming album 'Jinx'

Awsten Knight says he only learned of the allegations after the tracklist reveal.

Waterparks have confirmed their new album ‘JINX’, featuring Mark Hoppus, Danny Elfman and more

Alongside the album announcement, the band have released 'PROWLER'.
