So pretty much since 2015 'til about 2020, we were on the road straight
Every weekend, just being weekend warriors, touring all over the country
And about— around this time of, uh, February of 2020 I was feeling pretty exhausted
And almost burnt out to be honest
I think we all were
And I remember we played a show in, uh, Texas Mardi Gras in, in the Metroplex
And the very next day, our entire touring schedule, after we turned on the nеws
It got wiped out because of thе, uh, pandemic
And so I remember that was the biggest break, the longest break we ever had
But, however, come around April time, I was feeling that—
I had this song that I had sat on for a while
That we had recorded with Bruce Robinson at, uh, the Bunker, out there in Lockhart, Texas
From some previous sessions where we had recorded "Sober Heart of Mine"
But, uh, I remember sitting there after about a month or two of sitting at home during the pandemic
Thinking that, as everyone's sitting at home, uh, struggling mentally and a lot of fear in the air and stuff
Uh, I had this song that I had and it felt appropriate to release during this time
Had a lot of people reach out to us ever since
And express how this song has really helped them out
And I'm super grateful that we had this song in our back pocket and to bless a lot of people with
