Picture of Health

I want my body back But not in the way that you think that I might mean by that I mean I don’t wanna be mean anymore Despite the ways I tell myself I am flawed Are you tired of holding yourself hostage? Cuz I know that I am exhausted I will never be the picture of health I just wanna be better I will never be the picture of health I just wanna be better to myself I’ve contorted myself Distorted version of self But we should give ourselves more credit Through the aches and pains and my brain’s disdain It was my body that survived the lot of it You cannot hate your way into a good place Cuz you’re the one that has to live in your head space I will never be the picture of health I just wanna be better I will never be the picture of health I just wanna be better to myself If I can’t be body positive I wanna stop being so negative
