The Aces have announced a new disco-pop album, ‘Gold Star Baby’

The Aces announce fourth album exploring love and identity, alongside new single “You Got Me” ahead of August release.

Artists: The Aces

The Aces are set to release their new album ‘Gold Star Baby’ via SoundOn, alongside new single ‘You Got Me’.

The disco-pop record marks the band’s fourth album, following 2023’s ‘I’ve Loved You For So Long’. The new single sees the four-piece exploring the early stages of falling in love.

“This song is about that short and sweet period of time when you realize you’re in love but you’re not sure how to tell them,” the band explain. “We wanted it to sound like the feeling of falling in love; warm, shimmery, bouncy and a little bit of nerves.”

The album follows sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez, Katie Henderson, and McKenna Petty’s exploration of their experiences growing up in Provo, Utah. While their previous record dealt with themes of closeted love and religious trauma, ‘Gold Star Baby’ represents a celebration of identity and self-expression.

‘Gold Star Baby’ will arrive on 15th August.
