American Football have announced their fourth album.
The self-titled record, known as 'LP4', will be released on 1st May via Polyvinyl Records.
It is the band's first new album since 2019's 'LP3' and follows a turbulent period for the group. Drummer Steve Lamos left the band in the years between albums, leaving the group in limbo before they gradually managed to bring him back into the fold. Meanwhile, frontman Mike Kinsella underwent a divorce which informs the candid lyricism on the record.
The album features contributions from Turnstile's Brendan Yates and Wisp.
No music from the album has dropped yet, but the tracklisting reads:
American Football (LP4):
01 Man Overboard
02 No Feeling
03 Blood On My Blood
04 Bad Moons
05 The One with the Piano
06 Patron Saint of Pale
07 Wake Her Up
08 Desdemona
09 Lullabye
10 No Soul to Save
