Anna Meredith has scooped this year’s SAY Award for her album ‘Varmints’.
The Scottish Album of the Year is designed to honour - wait for it, you’ll never guess - the year’s best Scottish album. Yep. Blew our mids too. Other nominees for this year’s gong included CHVRCHES, Steve Mason, C Duncan and FFS.
With the ceremony taking place last night, it was Meredith who emerged the winner. She was quite excited about it too.
