Isaac Holman has announced new Baby Dave album ‘Billy’ and shared ‘am i clean???’
The SOFT PLAY frontman's solo project returns with ten new tracks.
SOFT PLAY vocalist Isaac Holman has revealed that his solo project Baby Dave will return with a third album, 'Billy', due 1st May. The announcement arrives with new single 'am i clean???'.
Across the ten-track record, Holman explores grief, panic attacks, romance, insomnia and nostalgia. His latest track addresses his experience of OCD.
On the subject, Holman explains: "I have pretty severe ocd. It makes me do things I don't want to do and think about things I don't want to think about. It's torturous. It's exhausting."
Two previous records have arrived under the Baby Dave name. 'Monkey Brain' landed in 2022, featuring several tracks produced by Damon Albarn, while 2023's 'Different Gravy' included a collaboration with Kate Nash on the single 'Telephobia'.
