Be Your Own Pet are back! Back!! Back!!!

The 00s garage indie punks will support Jack White on a couple of US shows next month.

Be Your Own Pet have announced they’re reforming.

The 00s garage indie rockers formed at the age of 15, releasing two albums – 2006’s ‘Be Your Own Pet’ and 2008’s ‘Get Awkward’ – before splitting.

Now, they’re back together to support Jack White on two dates of his upcoming US tour – The Tabernacle in Atlanta on April 28th and at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on April 30th.

“I’ve had a Be Your Own Pet-sized hole in my heart for the past 14 years,” vocalist Jemima Pearl explains. “We shared something life-changing together, so to get to go back and do it again as adults feels like coming home.”

“We are here to have fun and enjoy the good times,” guitarist Jonas Stein adds. “After enough time goes by, the negativity turns into life experience and the positivity grows and turns into more fun and laughter. Be safe and have fun with it!”
