Beach Bunny and Tegan and Sara have teamed up for a brand new version of the former’s single ‘Cloud 9’.
Taken from Beach Bunny’s 2020 debut album ‘Homeymoon’, the track has had a recent upsurge after appearing on the Spotify Global Viral 50 and something-something-isn’t-everything-about-this these-days-Dear-Reader TikTok.

“We’re massive fans of Beach Bunny,” Tegan and Sara explain. “When we heard ‘Cloud 9’ for the first time fell in love with the brilliant lyrics and addictive melody. We love that Lili was up to let us experiment with changing the pronoun in the chorus to she. The efforts made to make the song relatable to everyone, isn’t just about inclusivity, we think it’s a great indication of the flexibility and creative spirit of the band at its core!”
This all follows up on EP ‘Blame Game’, which arrived earlier this year, and comes ahead of a UK & European tour set for February 2022.
