Bon Iver has released two new singles, 'If Only I Could Wait (feat. Danielle Haim)' and 'Walk Home', taken from upcoming album 'SABLE, fABLE'.
The new record, their first in six years, will arrive via Jagjaguwar on 11th April. The album was primarily recorded at Justin Vernon's April Base studio in Wisconsin following a period of renovation.
The two new tracks follow previous single 'Everything Is Peaceful Love'. 'Walk Home' explores themes of desire and intimacy, while 'If Only I Could Wait' features a duet between Vernon and Danielle Haim, examining the complexities of new relationships.
"For the second look into fABLE, it couldn't be a single; it had to be a double," Vernon explains. "First, 'Walk Home' is a romp where you can't wait to pull your clothes off fast enough and jump inside bed with your one true lover. And then – the two of singles – 'If Only I Could Wait.' A duet. A bilateral crying question. How long can the two of us hang on to each other?"
