Charli XCX has teased ‘a date’, which could be when we get her forthcoming fifth studio album, maybe.
Posting on social media, our Chaz shared an image of a headstone featuring her name – Charli XCX – and two dates. One, better seen in a related TikTok video, is 2nd August 1992 – the day she was born. The second is 18th March 2022, a random Friday next year.
So obviously a release date, right? Not advance notice of her impending death?

The follow-up to 2020’s lockdown record ‘how I’m feeling now’ will be her fifth and final album under her current record deal. We do know when we’re next getting new material from Charli XCX, though. Her new song ‘Good Ones’ will arrive on 2nd September.
