Dry Cleaning and These New Puritans are going to head up Simple Things festival 2025

Bristol's Simple Things Festival announces Dry Cleaning and These New Puritans will headline its multi-venue event in November 2025.

Simple Things Festival have announced the first wave of artists for their 11th edition, set to take place across multiple venues in Bristol city centre on 8th November.

The 2025 event will be headlined by Dry Cleaning at Bristol Beacon's main auditorium. The line-up also features These New Puritans, TV On The Radio's Tunde Adebimpe performing solo material, and electronic artist Mechatok.

The festival will utilise various spaces across Bristol, including five stages at Bristol Beacon, Bristol Megascreen, Strange Brew, The Sportsmans, Rough Trade, and The Christmas Steps. Other confirmed acts include Factory Floor, The Orielles, Rich(ard) Dawson, Jawnino, and Iglooghost.

Matthew Aitken, Programmer at Bristol Beacon, says: "Simple Things has always been about pushing things forward - championing artists who aren't afraid to experiment and challenge the status quo. For 2025, we've curated a line-up that captures the energy, innovation and raw creativity that make modern music so exciting right now."

The festival will also feature showcases from Ugandan label Nyege Nyege Tapes and former World Snooker Champion Steve Davis, who will curate a selection of acts and perform a DJ set.
