Dry Cleaning have shared ‘Sliced by a Fingernail’, a prickly new cut from ‘Secret Love’
The song was produced by Cate Le Bon and arrives with new visuals.

Ahead of their extensive world tour, Dry Cleaning have dropped a new track from third album 'Secret Love'.
The single, titled 'Sliced by a Fingernail', arrives with accompanying laundry-noir visuals created by BULLYACHE. Cate Le Bon handled production duties on the track, which was recorded at Black Box studio.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song's lyrics, vocalist Florence Shaw said: "A lot of attention makes them feel sliced up. So they fantasise about being hidden inside a huge flower bud and about being anonymous in a crowd at night. The image of a brown mark from a finger nail pressed into a petal inspired some of the lyrics. I thought about peony buds not opening and then browning, and their tightness. The lyrics were also inspired by illustrator Jooyoung Kim's picture book about a dog who has a long body, called 'Welcome to My Life'."
To mark the occasion, a limited-edition t-shirt is available exclusively through the band's website.
