Flume has announced a brand new album, ‘Palaces’

There’s a first taster – ‘Say Nothing’, featuring MAY-A – too.

Artists: Flume MAY-A

Flume has announced a brand new album, ‘Palaces’, and dropped a new track to preview it.

Titled ‘Say Nothing’, the taster features Dork fave ‘MAY-A’ and is the first new material since 2020’s Toro y Moi team-up ‘The Difference’.

Speaking about the single, Flume explains: “This song is about feelings of post-relationship clarity. We wrote the song midway through 2020 while the pandemic was still pretty new. I was really excited about the initial idea but it was only once I got back to Australia in early 2021 and linked up in the studio with MAY-A that the song really came to life.”

MAY-A adds, “Working with Flume on ‘Say Nothing’ has been a really incredible experience. I’m such a big fan of Harley’s so it’s unbelievable to be in a position to create music with someone I look up to and can learn so much from. His creative process is a really inspiring thing to be a part of. I’m so excited for everyone to hear the song!”

The album, ‘Palaces’, is set to follow on 20th May and will feature Caroline Polachek, LAUREL and Damon Albarn, amongst others. You can check out the tracklist below.
