Geese unveil unreleased track 'Apollo' at Berlin show

Psych-rock leaning encore track arrives amid Australian studio sessions

Geese unveil unreleased track 'Apollo' at Berlin show

Brooklyn outfit Geese have given a new song its first outing during their current European tour. Titled 'Apollo', the track was performed during the encore of the band's set at Berlin's Astra on 15th March.

Several members of the group have recently been spotted working in an Australian studio alongside musicians from Tame Impala, Pond and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, which may account for the song's psych-rock direction.

The new material follows the band's third album 'Getting Killed', which arrived in September. Since that record's release, Geese have had a busy start to 2025, appearing as musical guests on Saturday Night Live on 24th January alongside host Teyana Taylor, where they performed 'Au Pays du Cocaine' and 'Trinidad' from the album.

At last month's BRIT Awards at Manchester's Co-op Live, Geese picked up the International Group of the Year prize ahead of Haim, Tame Impala, HUNTR/X and Turnstile. Drummer Max Bassin collected the award from Cat Burns and delivered a speech that was censored during the UK's live ITV broadcast.

"What up the Brits!" he said. "I just want to say, free Palestine, fuck ICE, RIP Mani, let's go Geese."
