Guitarist Daniel Kessler delivers rare vocal moment during live debut of new track

Interpol have debuted previously unheard track 'See Out Loud' at their recent São Paulo show
Interpol have given audiences their first taste of new music during a stop on their current world tour. Playing at Audio in São Paulo, Brazil on 19th March, the band worked the unreleased track 'See Out Loud' into their setlist, nestled among established material.

A notable feature of the performance saw guitarist Daniel Kessler step up to deliver a vocal passage over a synth-laden section, before Banks resumed lead duties as the song built towards a heavier conclusion. The track represents the first fresh output from the New York group since their seventh record 'The Other Side of Make-Believe' arrived in 2022.

The Armed's Chris Broome is currently handling drum duties on the road, following Sam Fogarino's decision to step back from touring after undergoing spinal surgery in 2023. Fogarino, a member since 2000, has co-written and performed on the band's forthcoming album.

Remaining tour plans for the year include Australian and New Zealand dates supporting Deftones in May, followed by European appearances through July and August. Among those is an appearance alongside My Chemical Romance in Italy, and a slot at All Points East x Outbreak in London on 23rd August alongside Deftones once more. Later in the year, Interpol embark on a co-headlining run with Bloc Party across the UK and Europe, taking in two dates at London's British Airways ARC venue.
