Jamie xx releases new Erykah Badu collaboration 'F.U.' on 'In Waves' deluxe edition

Jamie xx has released a new track featuring Erykah Badu, titled 'F.U.', as part of the deluxe edition of his album 'In Waves'.

The collaboration emerged from a chance encounter at a Primavera Festival after-party where both artists were scheduled to perform. When Badu's equipment malfunctioned during her set, she continued with an impromptu vocal performance. Jamie, present in the audience, captured the moment on his phone and later developed it into a track during the 'In Waves' recording sessions after reconnecting with Badu in London.

The deluxe edition of 'In Waves' includes five additional tracks alongside the original twelve-song album. Among the new material are 'F.U.' featuring Badu, 'Do Something', and the previously released singles 'It's So Good', 'LET'S DO IT AGAIN', and 'KILL DEM'.

The expanded version of 'In Waves' is now available on digital platforms.
