Japanese Breakfast is teasing a new single, set to arrive next week.
Directing followers to her TikTok account – the singer, real name Michelle Zauner – showed what appears to be behind the scenes footage from what could be a music video, with the date of 2nd March. Marisa Dabice of Mannequin Pussy also appears in the clip, which is soundtracked by ‘Sandstorm’ by Darude.

It follows another post on the social network which seemed to feature more footage from the shoot and the caption: “Less than two weeks from the drop people!!”

Alongside the posts, Michelle has suggested the fans should join her newsletter for “updates on LP3”, while both Marisa from Mannequin Pussy and her label, Dead Oceans, have confirmed a new song will be coming on 2nd March.
