Josh Caffé has announced his debut dh2 EP ‘The Velvet Hour’ with new single ‘Limousine’
The EP was inspired by the energy of queer nightlife.

Josh Caffé has returned with new single ‘Limousine’, alongside details of forthcoming EP ‘The Velvet Hour’, due for release on 17th July via dh2.
The track marks Caffé’s first release on the label, pairing warped house production with a vocal performance that leans into the song’s themes of infidelity, excess and emotional avoidance.
Co-produced with longtime collaborator Quinn Whalley of Paranoid London, the track also features arrangement contributions from George Daniel and mixdown from Margot Broom.
Speaking about the single, Caffé says: “‘Limousine’ is basically a song about infidelity and the emotional mess that comes with it, which is something a lot of people can relate to in one way or another.”
“The idea of ‘taking a ride in my limousine’ is symbolic. The limousine represents luxury, excess, and that kind of detached lifestyle, but it also becomes a space where the character is forced to reflect on his actions and think about what he stands to lose if the relationship finally falls apart.”
Inspired by the energy of queer nightlife and after-hours dancefloors, ‘The Velvet Hour’ draws from the spaces that have shaped Caffé’s career as both a DJ and artist, including Panorama Bar, Adonis, IsBurning and Horst Festival.
