Rising artist Kamal. explores teenage emotions and intoxicated romance in new single 'guilty', his first release ahead of upcoming debut album.
Kamal. has returned with new single 'guilty', marking his first solo release following recent live appearances with Central Cee.
The track arrives after the Ivor Novello-nominated artist joined Central Cee for arena shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester, where the pair performed their collaboration 'Now We're Strangers'. 'guilty' serves as the first glimpse of Kamal.'s upcoming debut album.
'guilty' is a coming of age record about the highs and lows of adolescence, particularly how beauty and new feelings can be discovered and distilled within one chaotic night," Kamal. explains. "It is a story of falling for a friend during the course of a party, but questioning the authenticity while intoxicated and trying to unpick the new emotions within the late night euphoria.
The classically trained pianist has previously released tracks including 'homebody' and 'blue', alongside the EP 'so here you are, drowning'.
