Loyle Carner announces new album ‘Hopefully!’ and world tour dates

The new record arrives on 20th June via Island EMI, following 2022’s ‘Hugo’

Artists: Loyla Carner

Loyle Carner has announced a new album titled ‘Hopefully!’ alongside an extensive world tour, sharing double single ‘All I Need/In My Mind’.

The British artist’s new record arrives on 20th June via Island EMI, following 2022’s ‘Hugo’, which earned him his second Mercury Prize nomination and second Top Three album.

The forthcoming LP explores themes of fatherhood, childhood and alternative music, with Carner expanding his artistic horizons by taking on production duties, singing, and forming what he describes as “the band of his dreams”. The album aims to deliver an uplifting message while offering listeners a more intimate glimpse into his personal life.

The newly released double single showcases different aspects of Carner’s artistry. ‘All I Need’ features a gentle, sombre melody accompanying lyrics about embracing life’s simple pleasures, while ‘In My Mind’ draws from ’90s hip-hop influences, addressing themes of overthinking and doubt.

‘Hopefully!’ marks the latest chapter in Carner’s discography, following his 2013 EP ‘A Little Late’ and subsequent albums ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ (2017), ‘Not Waving, But Drowning’ (2019), and ‘Hugo’ (2022).
