Lucy Dacus is previewing her new song 'Best Guess' and calling for fans to appear in its music video, seeking "smooth or suave" participants.
Lucy Dacus has shared a snippet of her upcoming single 'Best Guess' alongside a casting call for its official music video.
The singer-songwriter posted a 40-second clip on TikTok featuring a handwritten note, accompanied by a portion of the track that she previously debuted at Julien Baker's Brooklyn show last autumn.
"I am seeking some people to be in the music video for this song," Dacus wrote. "If you are smooth or suave or can pretend to be. Maybe you're a hot masc. Maybe you are simply willing and able and not afraid to be on camera." She continued: "Use this sound with a video of yourself looking cool and my team will reach out from this account by next week with more info. It's a little early, but there's a specific window where we have to make this happen, so I hope you enjoy this little bit of 'Best Guess'."

Dacus has announced her first solo performances in over two years, with shows scheduled across the United States where she will perform "mostly new songs".
