Lucy Dacus has shared a new track, 'Planting Tomatoes'
A lyric video filmed in Tokyo accompanies the Record Store Day single.

Lucy Dacus has put out 'Planting Tomatoes', her first new material since the release of solo album 'Forever Is a Feeling' earlier this year. Initially available as a Record Store Day exclusive on 18th April, the track has now landed on streaming platforms alongside a lyric video inspired by a shopping list, which Dacus filmed herself while in Tokyo.
Beyond her solo work, Dacus is also one third of Boygenius with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. The trio's debut album came out in 2023 and earned them three Grammy awards, including Best Rock Song for 'Not Strong Enough'.
A North American tour is also on the horizon for Dacus later this year. She has partnered with the Ally Coalition for the dates, with one dollar from every ticket sold going towards organisations that support young queer and trans people.
