Man/Woman/Chainsaw have shared new single ‘Goddamn, Lizard Man!’, the latest track to be lifted from their forthcoming debut album ‘Cannonball’.
The album lands on 7th August via Fiction Records, with the London six-piece also announcing a UK and Ireland headline tour for September and October.
‘Goddamn, Lizard Man!’ marks the first song from the record to feature Billy Ward on lead vocals. “It’s a look at the kind of slimy, manipulative magnetism people can carry - you recognise that they’re the worst yet somehow you can still find yourself captivated,” Ward says. “We’ve all met a few lizards in our time!”
Recorded at RAK Studios with Seth Evans and Margo Broom, the track follows previous singles ‘Only Girl’ and ‘Nosedive’.
The band will head out on tour later this year.
